A fast-food restaurant reopened in a Rockland County community after a car crashed into it.
The incident occurred on Saturday at the Wendy's in Nanuet, as reported by the Clarkstown Police Department.
Images posted by the department show the aftermath: A door bent inward, multiple cracks in the window, and shattered glass scattered across the floor. Police stated that the driver accidentally put the car into drive instead of reverse, leading to the crash.
Following the incident, the Clarkstown building inspector joined the police to evaluate the damage. No one was injured during the mishap, and the restaurant was able to remain open for business.
