A driver and his passenger crashed into the front of a home in Dutchess County but managed to escape injury.
According to Red Hook police, the incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. A 41-year-old man from Catskill was driving southbound on Route 9G when he crossed through the northbound lane and hit an embankment. The car then flew into the air and collided with the home.
At the time of the crash, one woman was inside the house. Both the driver and the woman were uninjured.
The driver was subsequently ticketed for failing to keep right and driving at an unreasonable speed, authorities say.
