The cat was first reported to be stuck early Wednesday evening by store employees. On Friday night, the cat went into a humane trap set up by the Putnam AdvoCATs and was able to be pulled up.
A volunteer with AdvoCATs said she was cold, wet, dirty and hungry, but otherwise in good health.
AdvoCATs, the Brewster Fire Department, Evans Spetic, the Putnam SPCA and Electric Snake and Drain all played important roles in the rescue.
After being scanned for a chip, the cat will be put up for adoption.
