Parishioners at one of the borough's oldest church's said their final prayers Sunday as St. Augustine's Church closes.
Structural issues and extensive deterioration are causing what's known as the "Cathedral of the Bronx" on Franklin Avenue to shut its doors.
Parishioners hope to build a smaller church near the current site, but it's unclear what will happen to the property where St. Augustine's sits.
