There's a possible new option when it comes to meningitis shots for young people.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advisors are recommending Pfizer's new vaccine.
The goal is to protect people from five of the most common kinds of bacteria that cause the deadly disease.
Healthy patients 16 to 23 years old would get a two-dose shot six months apart.
The CDC needs to accept the recommendation to make it official.
