The final count is in from the Spring Valley mayoral primary race, but the challenger in the race is crying fraud.
A second recount of votes shows George Darden defeated Demeza Delhomme by five votes. But Delhomme says five of his votes are missing. He says he personally picked up five absentee ballots and sent them in but they were not on the list. He says he believes someone is hiding them.
The Board of Elections says Delhomme picked up three absentee ballots but those ballots were never turned in to be counted.
Since there is no Republican candidate to run against, Darden is now on the ballot for the Democratic, the Republican and Independence party ticket in November.
