Chappaqua firefighters are being commended for preventing a car fire from spreading to a garage on Tuesday.
Firefighters were called to a home on North Way after reports of smoke coming from the garage. They arrived to find a car engulfed in flames.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire and push the car into the driveway. The scene was cleared after about an hour.
No injuries were reported.
