An outdoor pool at the Genesis-Saw Mill Club in Mount Kisco is temporarily closed after a child nearly drowned on Tuesday.

Lifeguards and staff rescued the young swimmer, according to the company. Emergency services were contacted, and the child is now recovering.

The pool will remain closed for several days while a state-mandated review is conducted.
