White Plains recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil the city’s new pollinator habitat.
The Battle Hill Pollinator Habitat is the first of its kind in Westchester County. The city transformed a once bare 1.47-acre area cross from the Metro-North station into a sustainable public space.
It will serve as a shelter and habitat for butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and more.
