A Clarkstown woman is praising the highway patrol for aiding her as she gave birth during the height of the snowstorm Sunday.
Anna Murillos says she awoke early Sunday morning and realized she was going into labor. Police say highway patrol heard the family?s 911 call and sent a plow to lead the ambulance to Nyack Hospital. The trip took only 10 minutes, and Murillos gave birth to a baby girl five minutes after arriving at the hospital.
Hospital officials say Murillos and her new daughter are doing well. The family says they are looking forward to a less eventful trip home from the hospital.
