A Chappaqua woman who was shot along with her husband on Route 100 in Millwood died Monday.

Police are not revealing much about the investigation, but they say a driver cut off 58-year-old Carlos Perez-Olivo and his 55-year-old wife Peggy on Saturday. Investigators say the suspect got out of his car and jumped in the couple?s back seat where a struggle started. Police say Peggy was shot in the head and her husband was shot in the stomach, but managed to drive to the hospital.

Neighbors are calling the case bizarre. They are wondering whether Carlos Perez-Olivo, a disbarred attorney, had anything to do with the shooting due to his previous legal dealings. The couple lives on the same quiet cul-de-sac as former President Bill Clinton and his wife Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY).
