A confessed drug dealer is heading to prison for 10 years after admitting to possessing cocaine and fentanyl for sale in Middletown.

Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler says 35-year-old Christian Mojica was sentenced after pleading guilty to criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Prosecutors say investigators seized cocaine and fentanyl packaged for sale, along with cash and cell phones, during a narcotics search of Mojica's home, vehicles and other locations in 2024.

Authorities say the case stemmed from an investigation into drug trafficking in the City of Middletown.
