Officials issued an alert that Main Street from Highland to Midland avenues in Nyack was closed for construction at the Gateway Lofts Building Monday through 6 p.m.

Heavy delays were expected in the area.

Officials also announced transit changes throughout Monday:

•           Coach USA Shortline and Exit 14 Express buses ran on limited service.

•           TRIPS paratransit buses were working on ADA service only.

•           Clarkstown Mini Trans did not run at all Monday.
