A 45-year-old Connecticut woman was arrested for stealing over $97,000 from the Putnam business she worked for.
Marlenin Vito was charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office was advised last April by a business owner that they suspected their bookkeeper was taking funds from the company.
Investigators looked at financial documents and conducted interviews about discrepancies that led to Vito's arrest.
