Two Pearl River clerks have been busted for allegedly selling alcohol to someone who was underage.
Orangetown police, working alongside the Rockland County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, conducted an underage drinking check at seven Pearl River stores this past Saturday.
Police say Sean Davies, 20, a clerk at a ShopRite store on North Middletown Road and 27-year-old Paul Annese, who works just down the street at ShopRite Liquors, were caught during the investigation.
Both received summons to appear in court. They will be answering to charges of unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeanor.
