The village of Cornwall-on-Hudson is close to completing its water meter replacement initiative, with only 52 out of 2,671 water meters in homes and businesses left for replacement.

The water department urges customers to schedule appointments to receive their new water meters, provided at no cost. Failure to do so will result in a $75 manual reading fee during the Jan. 30 billing cycle.

To set up an appointment or confirm if a new meter is required, individuals can contact the village water department at (845) 534-4200 Ext. 250.
