A Cortlandt business owner was sentenced to two years in prison for bribing a town employee to gain unauthorized access to a facility.
Glenn Griffin, owner and president of Griffin's Landscaping Corporation, used the access to dump unauthorized materials, according to prosecutors.
He was also sentenced for a separate bid-rigging scheme.
Robert Dyckman, the former assistant general foreman for the Town of Cortlandt, was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for his role in the bribery and dumping scheme.
Both men were ordered to pay $2.4 million in restitution to their victims.
