The one-day fun pass will see a 50 cent increase to $7.50. A seven-day unlimited ride card will be bumped up to $25, a $1 increase. Straphangers that opt for the 30-day unlimited ride card will pay an extra $5 at the new cost of $81.
In addition to the fare changes, the MTA will offer a new 14-day unlimited ride card for a price of $47. MTA officials say any unlimited ride cards purchased before March 2 will be honored despite the increase.
