COVID-19 rates jumping back up in many parts of the Hudson Valley

With the advent of the BA.4 and BA.5 variants and rising rates in New York City, the city Department of Health is encouraging people to mask up again indoors and recommends using heavy-duty N-95 masks.

COVID-19 positivity rates are back on the rise across many areas of the Hudson Valley
Dutchess County is at 11.4% while Ulster County is at 12%
The rates are lower in Orange and Rockland counties at 3.4% and 4.5% respectively, but it is around 8% in Putnam and Westchester counties.
