An investigation briefly shutdown a stretch of road in Rockland County Wednesday afternoon.
It happened near the corner of Sunny Ridge Road and Bristol Lane in New Hempstead.
Officers with Ramapo police were called to the scene shorty after 3 p.m.
Police have not confirmed what happened.
However a call came in to dispatch claiming two kids were possibly hit by a car.
"I didn't hear anything but I saw the lights and saw a guy stopped over there and a bus stopped in front of the house," says New Hempstead Resident, Gabriel Alexandre.
Neighbors tell News 12 it appears there was some kind of accident involving a motorized bike.
"The road is super windy and there is not a lot of visibility," says New Hempstead resident Kristin Cruz.
There's no word right now on if anyone was seriously injured or the ages of those involved.
