A taxi ended up on the front lawn of a Suffern home Friday after police say it was rear-ended while turning onto the property of an illegally run yeshiva.
Homeowners Bob and Annette Doerr have been complaining to town officials for months that the school operating out of a neighboring house poses a safety hazard.
Ramapo Town Attorney Michael Klein says the organizers of the yeshiva will be back in court within a few weeks, but Bob Doerr says he's not getting his hopes up.
The yeshiva was temporarily shut down by the town over safety code violations, but it has since been allowed to reopen.
