Crash shuts down King Street, brings down power lines in Port Chester

Village police announced the closure around 12:15 a.m. and said the road will stay shut until further notice.

A crash early Monday morning caused hours of street closures in Port Chester.
Police say a car slammed into a utility pole near King Street and Hawley Avenue, bringing down power lines.
Village police announced the closure around 12:15 a.m.
The driver was taken to Westchester Medical Center. Their condition is not yet clear.
Con Edison crews were on the scene working on repairs.
