Crawford police: Man charged with criminal possession of weapon following traffic stop

At around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities say officers pulled over Travis Gilmore, 21, for speeding on Route 302.

A man was charged with criminal possession of a weapon after Crawford police officers found a handgun inside his vehicle during a traffic stop.
At around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities say officers pulled over Travis Gilmore, 21, for speeding on Route 302. Officers say they then found the gun inside his Nissan Maxima and arrested him.
Gilmore was taken to Orange County Jail on $10,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
