Authorities are urging the public to stay away from Jeffery Place in Ramapo as crews battle a structure fire.

A picture from the scene posted by Ramapo police appears to show the roof of a multifamily home on fire.

A fire chief on the scene says the multifamily home was under construction and there were no occupants inside. No injuries were reported.
