Highway department crews were out in full force Friday working to clear the roads of Rockland County.
The morning commute was made dangerous with the constant snowfall. Part of the Palisades Parkway had to be shut down due to treacherous driving conditions. Road crews were plowing the snow and laying down salt and sand.
Crews are hoping to have all the secondary roads cleared as well to help make the evening commute easier for drivers. To find out about conditions in Orange County click here.
