Here are some more stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
A Yonkers woman will serve two to six years behind bars for her role in a deadly crash on the Saw Mill River Parkway. Kristen Lynn slammed into the back of Daniella Gore-Johnson's car last July. The impact sent the 28-year-old victim's vehicle off the road, spinning into a tree. She was killed. Lynn was ejected from her vehicle, but survived. Police say she was driving drunk and speeding.
A 33-year-old from Rye was arrested for boating while intoxicated after their boat ran into some rocks near Flagler Drive in Mamaroneck. Officials responded to the area after reports of a boat in distress and taking on water last Wednesday night. A 24-year-old woman from New York City suffered a severe head injury.
Former Spring Valley trustee Vilair Fonvil is back in jail this morning. The 58-year-old served two days of his one year sentence before being released in 2018 during an appeal. His conviction has been upheld. Today, he's back behind bars at the Rockland County Jail for stealing $11,000 from a children's camp in 2016.
