If you live in the village of Croton-on-Hudson your water service is going to be disrupted due to a hydrant flushing program.

The Water Department will be flushing in the areas of Truesdale Drive, Nordica Drive, Cedar Lane, Franklin Avenue, Hill Street, Piney Point Avenue, Arlington Drive, Benedict Boulevard, Oneida Avenue and Cleveland Drive.

Residents may notice a slight discoloration of their water, but it is temporary and poses no health risks.

Residents are asked to run the water for a short period of time until it clears up.

Community members are asked not to do any laundry until the water is clear.

If the discoloration persists, contact the Croton-on-Hudson DPW at 914-271-3775.
