A Yonkers man will be sentenced in June after being convicted of his third felony offense.
Westchester District Attorney Susan Cacace says 30-year-old Noel Thomas was convicted of criminal possession of a weapon, a designated felony offense.
His conviction classifies him as a persistent violent felony offender.
The latest incident happened in 2023, when police found a loaded semi-automatic pistol in his home.
Thomas was already on parole for a previous attempted criminal possession of a weapon conviction.
Upon his return to court, he will face sentencing of potentially life in prison with no set minimum term.
