Drivers in Rockland County should expect delays on Route 9W over the next few weeks as roadwork gets underway.

Haverstraw police say the work will take place between South Short Clove Road and Route 304 starting tonight.

Crews will be working from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Saturday mornings, with detours in place during those hours.

There will be no detours on Saturday or Sunday nights.

A daytime detour is also scheduled for this Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the same area to install a large vault.
