People who received a call from Discover Financial Services from Aug. 25, 2017 and Feb. 7, 2023 may be able to get part of a $1 million settlement.

The state Division of Consumer Protection says Discover Financial Services agreed to settle a lawsuit alleging it violated the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

It's alleged Discover made prerecorded calls about accounts people didn't own.

Those who think they are eligible for benefits have until June 7 to make a claim.
