Disc golf not coming to Saxon Woods

yesterdayDisc golf will not be coming to Saxon Woods, according to Westchester County Executive George Latimer.
The decision comes after reviewing the plan from the parks department that the park could not accommodate the game's 18 holes. "We should re-survey the various other sites we have in the county as possible homes for disc golf but not Saxon Woods," says Latimer.
The county has been looking for areas to build the disc golf course since the board of legislators added $40,000 to build one in the 2020 budget.
