If you are planning on hosting Thanksgiving this year, you are going to have to dig a lot deeper into your wallet.
That's because the price of turkey and all its trimmings is way up. According to the American Farm Bureau, the cost of serving up a Thanksgiving feast is up 13 percent. One New City resident shopping Tuesday says her turkey cost $75 while last year she paid just $50.
Shopping experts say making a list and using coupons can help keep your holiday spending in check.
