With temperatures well into the 90's throughout the Hudson Valley, spending too much time outside could wind up being hazardous to your health. Doctor Shobhana Pathani who works at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital says it's especially important for older people and young kids to stay cool. She says the hospital has already seen a number of heat stroke and dehydration victims Monday. Officials are advising residents to stay indoors, catch a break in the shade and drink lots of fluids to fight the oppressively high temperatures.
