Dozens of workers at the Rockland Mental Health Office received layoff notices today from the county. About 40 county employees received the letters, but in reality, only 28 of them will be laid off.

Dozens of workers at the Rockland Mental Health Office received layoff notices today from the county.
About 40 county employees received the letters, but in reality, only 28 of them will be laid off.
Rockland County officials say they hoped to issues the notices in a way that would be the least traumatic for employees.
