The life and contributions of the late Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were celebrated Sunday night at a church in Spring Valley.

Residents of all religions were invited to the celebration at First Baptist Church.

Attendees shared with News 12's Carol Wilkinson the reasons and importance to celebrate King's legacy.
