A Goshen man is facing manslaughter charges Monday after police say he beat a man to death.
Police say Marco Soriano, 21, killed Antonio Pasaran, 35, during a fistfight Saturday in a parking lot near Greenwich Avenue. Sources say the dispute may have been over drugs and money. Amelio Lemon, who lived in the same building as the victim, said Pasaran's drug habit got so bad that he ended up homeless. According to an employee at the beer store where the two came in contact, Soriano was drunk and picked a fight with Pasaran. The worker says the fight continued outside the store.
Soriano is being held at the Orange County Jail on $50,000 bail.
