An Orange County sanitation worker was struck by a dump truck while on the job Wednesday.
Authorities are classifying the incident as an accident, but they still do not know exactly what happened.
Charles Faurot, 31, was on Washington Street when he was hit ? coincidentally, that is the street he lives on. Faurot was badly hurt and sustained serious injuries.
?I ran right down when I heard what was happening, and I saw it was Charlie,? neighbor Pat Welch says.
?I wish the best for him and his family,? neighbor Doris Wickiser says. ?It?s pretty scary.?
State police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
