It is the season of giving and the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office and Family Services are helping by hosting a food drive.

The event is Saturday at ShopRite at 10 Winslow Gate Road in Poughkeepsie, next to the Home Depot.

Volunteers will be accepting donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
