Environmentalists celebrate small win in Hudson barge anchoring fight

Environmentalists are celebrating a small win in the barge controversy on the Hudson river.
The Coast Guard has temporarily paused barge anchoring.
It comes after lawmakers and environmental groups raised outrage over barges anchoring where they shouldn't be.
They say the Coast Guard got around a law banning it by redefining the Port of New York, opening much of the river to anchoring.
The group sent a letter Monday, calling on the Coast Guard to permanently follow the ban.
