It looks like Mother Nature pulled quite the April Fools' prank on the Hudson Valley today.

While wet snow did fall throughout the day, it didn't amount to the several inches that had been predicted. The warmer temperatures kept the roads clear and no one had to shovel their driveways or walkways.

Local residents were very relieved this storm turned out to be a bust. Today's spring snow resulted in a mere coating of the white stuff on cars and on lawns.
