Friends and family are mourning the loss of a Spring Valley father who died Tuesday in a motorcycle crash.
John Keller, of Pods in Valley Cottage, says he is lost without his co-worker, 33-year-old Evency St. Preux, who was killed in New City while riding to work.
The driver of the car that struck St. Preux was pulling out of his driveway and apparently didn't notice the motorcycle.
?It hit me today on the way to work, and I just started to come apart because this place isn't the same without him,? Keller says.
St. Preux was the first employee hired at Pods in 2005. Keller says he became concerned when his friend did not show up at work Tuesday because, he says, St. Preux wasn't the type of person who would do that. Keller later learned of the fatal crash.
?Just an all around good guy, you don't find guys like him everyday of the week,? Keller says.
St. Preux is survived by his wife and six children. His family is now making funeral arrangements. His co-workers at Pods say they're going to make sure their friend?s loved ones are taken care of.
