9h agoA motorist was fatally injured in a one-car crash on the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway early this morning.
The incident occurred shortly before 3 a.m. when a vehicle traveling southbound went off the road and struck an electrical utility box near Mill Road.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Southbound lanes reopened mid-morning after a lengthy investigation. Northbound traffic on the parkway remained open all morning.
