Firefighters across the Hudson Valley are continuing to fight brush fires today.
Fire crews are working to contain a brushfire in Montrose this afternoon on College Hill Road.
Fire crew say it is about 85 percent contained as of 4:30 p.m.
The fire was burning about a quarter of a mile into the woods, according to fire officials.
The Montrose Fire Department says the fire started around 2 p.m. There are no injuries reported at this time.
A neighbor told News 12 she came home to fire crews in her driveway. She says everybody in her home is OK but they are shaken up.
