A vacant New Rochelle house undergoing renovation was damaged in an early morning fire Thursday.
The fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. at 9 Faneuil Place.
"The fire just spread so fast, like it just went from the second floor to the third floor so quickly," said Sara Mannaa, a neighbor.
It took firefighters about three hours to bring the blaze under control. They said an "aggressive attack" prevented it from spreading to other homes.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
The cause is under investigation, but is not considered suspicious.
