A fire in Mount Vernon on Monday caused delays up to 70 minutes on
Metro-North's New Haven line.
Metro-North
officials say they responded to a burning overhead utility wire between Mount
Vernon East and New Rochelle stations.
News 12 cameras
spotted smoke coming from an overpass at Fourth Avenue.
Service on the New Haven Line was delayed 10-15 minutes.
Rail riders are asked to allow for additional
travel time and expect some minor service adjustments and cancelations.
