The spring weather may be a welcome change, but it also has the National Weather Service issuing a "red flag" warning for brush fires in Orange County. Firefighters say strong winds, low humidity and warm temperatures are a dangerous combination for brush fires. Several fires have been reported across the Hudson Valley, including one at the Black Rock Game Preserve in Cornwall. The blaze was called in around 2 p.m. Thursday, and within hours, fire officials say the blaze spread more than four acres. The cause of the Cornwall brush fire is still under investigation.
