Multiple firefighters reported to the scene of a fire Sunday afternoon at an unoccupied home in New Rochelle.
Officials say the fire broke out at the residence on North Avenue around 4 p.m.
New Rochelle Fire Department Chief Andrew Sandor said crews were able to get the fire quickly under control.
"Units did a good job once they got on it...They had it knocked down, did searches right quick. Maybe about 30 minutes or so, and had it under control," Sandor explained.
There were no reported injuries.
Officials say the home is damaged to the point where it can no longer be lived in.
A cause of the fire was not immediately known as of Sunday night.
