George Mezzone, who recently turned 100 years old, was honored Sunday during a celebration at his hometown McDonald's.
Mezzone was joined by family members, friends and local leaders for the event.
The restaurant owner says Mezzone and his friends have been gathering for breakfast at the location every morning for more than 20 years.
The celebration recognized both his 100th birthday and his service during World War II.
