3ds agoEileen Pilla, the first woman to hold the position of Mayor in the Village of Tarrytown, has passed away at the age of 91.
Serving as mayor from 1987 to 1999, she was previously a village trustee for four years.
Beyond her mayoral tenure, Pilla continued her involvement in the community by serving on various local boards.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
