First responders were honored on Wednesday in Carmel for
successfully finding Roy Clayton who had been missing for days.
Drones, police dogs, dive teams, volunteers, and residents searched for Clayton, 66, after he had wandered off on July 27 without a phone and the medicine he needs for his medical concerns.
Police found surveillance video of Clayton that helped find him in the woods.
Each agency involved in finding Clayton received a certificate of appreciation during the Carmel Town Board meeting.
